CONNECTING PEOPLE AND PLACE

Rooted in the rich heritage of the American Southwest, our designs reflect the enduring spirit of its culture, people, and landscapes. Our artisans are at the heart of everything we do, creating beauty through story. By merging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, our collaborations celebrate artisanal talent through unique, one-of-a-kind creations.

Our story

WE INVEST IN PEOPLE

Our business model is simple. We believe in artisans. Our collaborations embrace their talent, happiness, and livelihoods. We work directly with different communities of artisans around the American Southwest to share their creative skills with the world. Using traditional techniques passed down through generations blended with a modern design, each Etkie piece is one-of-a-kind and made by hand. We hope that the connection between the makers and the wearers translates into something special, preserving and celebrating the culture of the Southwest and its Native community.

Our process

HANDWOVEN ON THE NAVAJO NATION

Our luxury beaded cuffs are handloomed by one of eleven Native American artisans in New Mexico. Artisans work on their time, in their own spaces, according to the amount of work they want to do each week. Their quality of life, their independence, and supporting their dedication to their communities will always be our top priority as a company. With every Etkie purchase, you are supporting meaningful income opportunities for artisans and their families.

Land Acknowledgement

Honoring the Land And Its People

Etkie acknowledges the complex history of the lands on which we live and work. Our Albuquerque office resides on the ancestral and unceded homelands of the Tiwa people and numerous Pueblo nations, as well as the Navajo and Apache peoples. We recognize the deep and enduring connections Indigenous peoples maintain with this land. In alignment with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, we respect the rights of Indigenous communities as traditional stewards of these lands and commit to honoring their heritage, culture, and significant contributions to our shared history.

"I love this bracelet! The craftsmanship is impeccable and it looks even better in person than online. If you're concerned about the one-size-fits-most, don't be. It comfortably fit my wrist, my sister's wrist, and my mom's wrist, which are all wildly different sizes. I'll be back for more to build my stack!"

"Customer service is stellar - responsive, polite, helpful. That makes a HUGE difference."

"This is my second bracelet and it is more beautiful than the picture. The craftsmanship and colors are just exquisite! Thank you so much!"
